The Rose Gold & Brown Dial Version of the Piaget Polo Date

Piaget has been busy celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. As a precursor of ultra-thin movements since the 1950s, Piaget has recovered its throne and is basking in the limelight with its world record-breaking 2mm-thin Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon. While it does not hold a world record, Piaget’s flamboyant 1979 Polo high quality replica watches has also been revisited in a much-applauded solid gold remake. However, the model most of us are familiar with is the luxury sports watch version of the Polo, last updated in 2016. Although the similarities between the 1979 Polo and the sports watch are not immediately evident, the grooves traversing the dial echo the distinctive gadroons of the original Polo. The latest high quality replica watches Polo Date model features a new, delectable chocolate-brown dial that works exceptionally well with its warm rose gold case.
The most straightforward model in the lineup, the Polo Date has appeared in 42mm and 36mm diameters and a host of dial colours. The new chocolate-brown dial comes in the signature rounded, cushion-shaped case measuring 42mm across and 9.4 mm high, pretty slim for an automatic 100m water-resistant sports watch with a sapphire crystal on the caseback. The wide bezel is decorated with horizontal brushing and a polished bevel matching the surface of the case middle. The case sides are also elegantly satin-brushed with polished bevels.
Like other Piaget Polo Date high quality replica watches models, the brown dial features a series of horizontal guilloché gadroons, a framed date window at 6 o’clock and applied rose gold indices with luminescent inserts. The gold-coloured hour and minutes hands are also luminescent, and the central seconds hand has a ‘P’ in the counterweight.
The sapphire crystal on the back of this Polo Date allows a view of the slim 4mm-thick 1110P calibre. Beating at 4Hz and delivering a 50-hour power reserve, the 180-component movement is decorated with circular Côtes de Genève on the bridges and the slate grey rotor, bevelling and perlage on the mainplate.
