Tudor Black Bay

What is the size of the watch?
These watches are from the same line, drawing certain design elements from different historical models, giving off a completely different vibe. To find out why the black version wins for me, it’s time to subjectively compare and contrast the two watches.

Tudor Black Bay 58 – 2018: Black
Although the original Tudor Black Bay 58 has a dark grained dial, it gives an almost comfortable feeling. This is thanks in large part to the visible gold plating on the hour markers, hands, minute markers and bezel. The attractive tones created by the gold-plated and rose gold indexes give the watch an almost autumnal warmth. Rarely does a black dial exude such warmth. This makes the original Black Bay 58 a very versatile watch.

It has a laid-back style but a serious design. You can imagine it being worn on a man’s wrist sipping hot coffee on an October day, or pairing it with a burgundy wool jumper for a walk in the forest with friends. That said, this Swiss diver’s watch has a purpose – it’s legible throughout the day, whether you’re an aesthetic lover or not, not to mention easy to read even in the depths of the waves. According to an unexpected opinion from a friend, this is a “pirate watch”; while they must be a reasonably financially successful and tasteful pirate, I do agree with its aesthetics, especially the brown leather strap option, that would be worn Travelers take them back in time to rough seas and far-flung adventures.

Tudor Black Bay 58 – 2020: Navy Blue
In contrast, the blue version with its navy matte grained dial exudes more of a summer yacht vibe. When I first saw it on a friend’s wrist at a restaurant last summer, the first thing I noticed was that it was more vivid and brighter than its siblings. Worn on a very high quality NATO strap, it looks confident yet elegant and masculine.

If I were to personify this watch too, I’d say it feels like a socially casual piece to wear while meeting friends and sipping rosé on the French Riviera. Speaking of France, it’s worth revisiting the fact that this watch was inspired by the mid-70s “blue snowflake” Tudor submarines worn by the French marines. As mentioned, find out how a country can trust it Investing in a company really means a lot. I like to imagine the pride, not to mention the joy, the Navy gained from using tool sheets at the time. In the end, as the success of this model proves, Tudor has played well in the game, deftly responding not only to the growing demand for smaller-sized watches, but also to the continued popularity of blue-dial sports watches.

judgment
While using the same design language and mechanics, the two versions are significantly different. Therefore, two basic conclusions can be drawn. First and foremost, both models are inevitably popular for their ability to be neo-vintage watches, but still boast impressive calibers and high-quality craftsmanship. Second, both watches share what many enthusiasts are after: a strong story. But that’s why the black version still dominates.

First, with its bold retro look and feel, it definitely stands out with its more unique look. Unlike the 2020 version, this watch doesn’t try to capture any trends so obviously, and its color scheme is refreshing. Secondly, there is its inspiration; the black and gold-plated models mainly use the Tudor 1958 Ref. to form their design specifications. 7924. This is important – after all, the entire collection takes its name from the famous groundbreaking diver’s watch. As a result, it was able to provide what many members were looking for; a real sense of heritage. The original Black Bay 58 is successfully executed with a neo-retro design that combines a sensual story with equally poignant design elements.

Having said that, the navy blue version also tells a powerful and powerful story of a nation’s belief in a watch house. Also, despite being the more modern of the two, it still balances storytelling and style seamlessly into one best watch. That said, its sporty composition combined with the blue dial unabashedly caters to current trends.

Compared to its siblings, this 2020 design is a far cry from the 1958 Ref. 7924, at least at first glance. For this reason, while probably the more preferred look for most people, it has less sentimental value in my eyes. What’s more, Tudor has always been appreciated by its fans for the high quality of its watches, its lower price point and usability compared to its older brother, the Rolex.

However, getting the navy blue version proved to be very difficult. I’ve heard many stories of waiting lists and even forum discussions – perhaps ironically – about replacing the more expensive Rolex “Smurf” Submariner in favor of getting a navy blue version. In any case, there is clearly a price to be paid for following the trend, although Tudor never generated the hype around it from the start.

So while the original Black Bay 58 version won me over, the joy of watchmaking lies in its wide range of opinions. Thankfully, the different aesthetics of the two models mean that at least two should speak to you. If not – let’s pray that Tudor fake will surprise us again this year.

Time-honored Tudor Green Bay 1958 Navy Blue

This Tudor cheap Biwan 1958 navy blue watch was launched in July 2020, and it has attracted attention once it is released. The watch has inherited many of the long-standing aesthetic features of the original diving watch, such as retaining the size of the original case, allowing wearers with slender wrists to control the watch well.

The watch case is made of 316L steel. The case has been processed to show two visual effects: polished and frosted. The diameter of the watch is 39 mm. The screw-in winding crown on the watch side is made of stainless steel. The crown is decorated with embossed Tudor. The rose logo, this large crown design, is a typical feature of the first-generation Tudor diving watch with a water resistance of 200 meters. It is equipped with a pit pattern non-slip design to facilitate the wearer’s daily adjustment of the time.

In 1969, Tudor introduced a diving watch with a blue dial and outer ring. Since then, other sports watches in the series have successively introduced blue styles, and the blue style has quickly become a very iconic color of Tudor, and it is called Tudor Blue. In the 1970s, with the large-scale assembly of Tudor diving watches by the French Navy, this made Tudor Blue more popular. Tudor took this as a design inspiration, making the Biwan 1958 navy blue style continue the long tradition of Tudor blue and incorporate modern styles, designing the navy blue dial and outer ring for the watch.

Tudor uses matte blue anodized aluminum to make a 60-minute scale digital unidirectional rotating outer ring. The outer ring numbers and hour markers are silver-plated. The hour markers and hands on the navy blue dial are coated with A-grade Swiss Super- LumiNova® luminous material coating allows the watch to be read clearly even in a dimly lit environment. There is also a non-slip pit pattern design on the side of the diving timer outer ring to facilitate divers to operate in an underwater environment.

This watches cheap uses Tudor’s iconic hands, called snowflake angular hands. Tudor designed this distinctive hand in 1969.

The watch adopts a dense bottom design. The watch is equipped with a TUDOR original MT5402 two-way oscillating system automatic winding mechanical movement. The MT5402 movement has the display function of hours, minutes and seconds. It has a diameter of 26 mm and is designed for The design of a medium-sized TUDOR watch. The movement structure is ingeniously designed to ensure reliability and durability. Both sides of the inertial fine-tuning balance wheel are fixed by solid cross-splints. The original Tudor movement MT5402 has a power reserve of up to 70 hours and is water-resistant to 200 meters. The movement has also been certified by the Swiss Chronometer Testing Center (COSC). All Tudor watches purchased after January 1, 2020 are provided with a five-year warranty without registration.

The watch is equipped with a rivet polished and frosted steel strap, with a discount and insurance buckle. The brand logo is engraved on the top of the buckle. In addition, 2020 also coincides with the tenth anniversary of the use of a textured strap on a Tudor fake watch. This Biwan 1958 In addition to the steel chain, navy blue has a blue “soft touch” strap, or a blue textured strap decorated with silver stripes. The woven strap is also a major feature of Tudor watches. The strap is made by traditional jacquard craftsmanship by a century-old family company in St-Etienne, France. The three straps are worn in completely different styles to meet different wearing needs.

The overall design of the watch is outstanding, but not high-profile. As a professional diving timepiece, the watch is also durable, accurate and reliable. This navy blue watch is not just as simple as Tudor’s replica of its classic watches, but embodies the essence of Tudor’s nearly seventy years of divers watch making. It cleverly combines traditional aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking technology. Compared with its own submersible blue disc, the navy blue has more retro texture, and it is more distinctive than the Black Bay 1958 black gold. I think this is the fascinating part of the Tudor Black Bay 1958 navy blue watch. The watch is very suitable to be worn as a daily commuter watch. If you are looking to buy a watch at this price, or a commuter watch, you may wish to pay more attention to this Tudor Biwan 1958 navy blue watch.

Replica Tudor 1926 28 Stainless Steel

The Tudor 1926 line pays tribute to TUDOR’s origins and watchmaking traditions, a mechanical watch that is timeless, classic and elegant. It epitomises TUDOR’s philosophy: one of refinement, quality and affordability.

With its 1926 line, TUDOR renews its commitment to the traditional values of fine Swiss watchmaking – a world where mechanical excellence goes hand in hand with enduring sophistication. The 1926 line is named after the year when “The Tudor” was registered as a brand on behalf of Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf. It captures TUDOR’s philosophy and continues down the very same path that it has trodden ever since its inception, emerging as a high-quality watch technically and aesthetically, with a level of sophistication that transcends any apparent limitations.

Made from a block of one of the most robust stainless steels in existence, 316L steel, and highlighted with touches of satin-brushed rose gold, the case on these models is waterproof in all circumstances and to 100 metres (330 feet) below sea level thanks to its screw-down crown and case-back.

The dials of the 1926 model are a fine example of TUDOR’S thorough attention to detail. Domed for a vintage touch and adorned at the centre, their delicately embossed design harkens back to TUDOR’s origins, in subtle contrast to the smooth minute scale.

Offered in a choice of silver, opaline, white or black, these dials have applique even-numbered Arabic numerals between faceted arrow-shaped hour markers. There are also versions where the odd-numbered hour markers are set with diamonds. The wealth of detail on the dials of the 1926 line creates a striking and intricate play of light that perfectly complements the sword-shaped hands with their matching colours.

Ever-faithful to Swiss watchmaking traditions, and to the TUDOR collection as a whole, the models in the 1926 line are all fitted with self-winding mechanical movements that have proved to be robust and reliable. The traditional “ROTOR SELF-WINDING” marking on the dial is a direct reference to this characteristic.

Finely decorated, with a 38-hour power reserve, they feature hours, minutes and seconds as well as the date in an aperture at 3 o’clock. Offered in steel or gold and steel, the 1926 line comes in four sizes – 28 mm, 36 mm, 39 mm and 41 mm. It has been designed for women as well as men to suit wrists both big and small, with those who love beautiful things in mind.

The case is made of steel, polished all over and waterproof to 100 metres (330 feet). All four case sizes are available with finishing touches in 4N rose gold that embellish the bezel and winding crown and highlight the dial details.

The metal bracelet has taken pride of place in TUDOR design from the very beginning. The Tudor 1926 28 line naturally has a purpose-made bracelet designed with comfort, refinement and quality in mind. Made up of seven links of varying size, it closely follows the curve of the wrist. Its outer links are satin-brushed while those in the middle are polished – a variety of finish that enhances the elegant appearance of the watch. Meticulously assembled in accordance with TUDOR’s longstanding skill in the field, the bracelet is flexible as well as strong.

Tudor 1926 28 Stainless Steel offers a five-year guarantee for all products sold from 1 January 2020 onwards. This guarantee does not require the watch to be registered or submitted to periodic checks and is transferable. All TUDOR products purchased between 1 July 2018 and 31 December 2019 will benefit from an 18-month guarantee extension, a total of three and a half years. TUDOR also recommends having its watches serviced approximately every 10 years, depending on the model and daily use.
